The head of government of the City of Buenos Aires announced the arrival of the new Line F of the subway, as part of the planned improvements in underground transport. Javier Ibáñez, president of SBASE, emphasized the importance of essential works, although not always visible to passengers.

In the Premetro, a new operational loop is being constructed to improve the frequency and maneuverability of the trains. Additionally, the Larrazábal, Nicolás Descalzi, and Gabino Ezeiza stops are being renovated. With this ambitious construction plan, the aim is to modernize the subway and Premetro network, ensure accessibility for all users, and offer safer and more comfortable spaces.

Ibáñez explained that, in addition to visible improvements, fundamental work is being carried out to resolve issues of humidity and leaks in most stations, to achieve more comfortable and safer spaces. He highlighted that ten subway stations and thirteen Premetro stations have already been improved, with work ongoing at Plaza Italia and Tribunales, and future interventions planned for other stations.

The reopening of the Pueyrredón station of Line B, after three months of comprehensive renovation work, is one of the highlighted actions under the Buenos Aires S.E. modernization plan for Subterraneos. In parallel, work continues at Plaza Italia and Tribunales stations (Line D), with future projects planned for other stations.

The renovation of the Pueyrredón station included various improvements such as waterproofing to solve humidity problems, general painting, floor renewal, installation of LED lighting, updating signage with a braille system and new furniture on the platforms. These improvements extended to access ways, stairs, and lobbies, seeking to create an orderly, accessible, and bright environment to enhance the user experience.

The head of government highlighted the implementation of the multipayment system in the subway, the investment in the purchase of new trains for several lines, and the commitment to technology and the renovation of stations as part of the efforts to improve underground transport in the city.
